CROCHET ROVER CIRCLE BAG | TAYLOR LYNN CROCHET (SEWRELLA)

We will start with my favorite pattern and the only one I have had a chance to make so far. I loved using the Bernat Maker Big yarn for the first time. It worked up so quickly and gives the purse such a sturdy, but soft feel. Love it! I chose the Chartreuse Bernat yarn color and sewed a strap from lightweight webbing. It took three Portlandia episodes to finish this morning and I am excited to use it this sunny afternoon! So cute!

CABANA CROCHET BAG PATTERN | SWEET EVERLY B

I have never used raffia, in crochet, but am so pumped about its possibilities. I have been planning to make a hat out of raffia, but am also adding this adorable bag to my list. I love that it is a little larger bag (I carry a ton in my purse) and is such a beautiful, light color.

CUTE JUTE CIRCLE PURSE PATTERN | MEGMADE WITH LOVE

Another material I have never crocheted with! Jute! I think the rough-hewn look of this purse is amazing, and especially love Megmade’s use of a leather strap. Time to get familiar with this new material!

STREET FAIR CROCHET BOHO PURSE PATTERN | MAKE & DO CREW

Last, but not least! This purse is fabulous. The optional tassel fringe is so cute, plus I love the 24/7 Lion Brand cotton yarn Jess used. The Street Fair Crochet Boho purse also has a clasp to keep it closed. I think this would make an amazing gift, and there’s still time before summer ends.
