Bats are cute! Don’t let anyone tell you differently. Especially when they are made with this adorable Pipsqueak furry yarn and have cute little fangs, feet, and ears. I named this little cutie Stellaluna after a book I loved as a child, she is so spunky and reminds me of the bat in that book.

NYE FAUX FUR PURSE PATTERN

A soft and fuzzy crossbody purse for a night out on the town!

I may have been influenced by our time in Las Vegas, but once I saw this skein of faux fur yarn I knew it was meant to become a purse! This quick pattern will spice up the winter months; this fuzzy purse will hold everything you need and bring a smile to you and those around you. I love the subtle mint green coloring, the way the stitches disappear and how dang soft it is! I offset all of this softness with a matching black and gold zipper and purse strap set from Joann’s.

I wanted to make one final chalk bag design of the year that would be the cutest, softest, coziest thing I could make. Can sloths be any cuter! I love creating animal-themed chalk bags and when I grabbed a skein of this faux fur yarn I knew it was time to add a sloth to my suite of cute animal bags. I love the contrast between the furry yarn and the acrylic yarn face, especially that little smile and nose!
