Winter is for yoga! On those days that the wind and the rain keep you indoors, its the perfect way to warm up. A nice session of stretching (or just lounging) makes all the difference, and these socks will motivate you to get up and do it!
Have you been stuck trying to figure out to make with that single skein of gorgeous hand-dyed yarn you have sitting on your shelf? Look no further, this pattern is it! This simple design uses only a single skein of yarn, makes a perfect gift, and is endlessly customizable.
I based the texture of these socks off of another favorite pattern of mine: the Chuckanut Sweater Pattern. The slip stitch rows help create a slouchy ribbing that I just love the look of! I was so pleased with how these turned out and cannot wait to wear them all winter at yoga and (of course) while crocheting on the couch.

DIRECTIONS
YOGA SOCKS (MAKE 2)
This piece is started in the round with joining and no turning. To achieve an invisible and straight seam, work your first stitch of the next round into the same stitch as your chain and end the round slip stitching into the first stitch of the previous round.
This pattern is crocheted from the bottom up. Remember to keep your tension very loose on the calf section.
To create a custom fit measure (in inches) the circumference of your foot, around the ball of your foot. To get your starting chain, multiply the number of inches by 3 and then round to the nearest even whole number; that number is your starting chain. For example: I wear a size 8.5 in womens and the circumference of my foot is 9 inches. 9 X 3 = 27; therefore my starting chain is 28 chains.
ch 22 (26, 30) Join with a sl st to the first chain to form a ring, being careful not to twist it.
HEEL SECTION
CALF SECTION (Keep your stitches loose throughout this section!)
Repeat Rows 1-8 until row 32, or until your yoga socks are the desired height, and end with a final row of slip stitches through both loops. Fasten off and weave in ends. If you have larger calves and need to make a little more room in this section of the yoga sock, then increase every 4 stitches during row 6.
Your Pumpkin Spice Yoga Socks are finished! Namaste!
