These little votives candle hangers are so easy to customize and will suit any home decor. You can use candles and glass holders as I did, or even mason jars and succulents! How cute would that be? Plus it uses up those scraps of yarn that you love, but haven’t found a use for.
I love Darn Good Yarn; their products, their mission, everything! I also hate waste and tend to hold on to lots of scraps of yarn. Coming up with a unique and stylish way to use them was a blast. Especially as we move through these winter months with low light and dreary weather. A little light from some hanging candles will brighten your day!

DIRECTIONS
This piece is worked in the round from the bottom up – this allows you to measure your candle holder or jar as you work so that it will fit this hanger perfectly. The strap lengths are also customizable to whatever suits your needs. You will begin by crocheting a round base that fits your candle holder before crocheting the open-stitch sides.
Magic Circle
STRAPS
ch 30, sl st into st after next 2 pom poms (see photo below) and single crochet in same st. Repeat four more times around – you will have 5 loops of chains.
sl st in first 15 chains of first chain loop. ch 30 (see photo below), ch 1 and sl st back down the 30 chs to your chain loop. Continue to sl st down the remaining 15 chs on the other side of your chain loop. Repeat with next loop, however once you finish the 30 chains, sl st to the last st on the previous 30 chains to connect all the lengths together, before sl st back down the 30 chains and along the chain loop. Continue until all five chain loops have a length of 30 chains from their middle point that are all connected. This is how you will hang your candle.
Finish off and weave in all ends. Place your candle holder or jar inside the hanger and hang it up!

I love these, they would also be a gorgeous oudoor garden and patio accent(where I saved mine on Pinterest) they look so chic and just scream Party Time. Thank you for bringing this beautiful inspiration to us all.
That is a wonderful idea! Especially if you used some nice cotton or hemp scraps, they would be beautiful on a patio or garden. Thank you so much for your positive feedback 🙂
